Biodiversity
Through this project, we would like to educate people about what biodiversity means and its importance for our region. Using educational materials, the group will be able to inform and demonstrate easy and achievable actions for watershed citizens. These workshops will inform people about biodiversity issues in our community. The group is committed to working with several organizations such as Nature NB and municipalities to complete the activities of this project.
Biodiversity is a very complex subject. It includes several elements that each have a role to play in our environment. All elements such as water, trees, animals, plants, ecosystems and wetlands are important to our environment and species diversity is key to maintaining it. Public education is essential for the protection of our environment and biodiversity.
