Aboiteau Park Dunes

What's new...

Evaluation Project of the quality of habitat for salmonids (salmon and trout) in the KouchibouguacRiver, WestmorlandCounty. This project consists of a three phase plan, first of which is an analysis of the physical aspects of the river in terms of fish habitat, followed by the creation of an inventory of the different species of fish and macroinvertebrates present in the  Kouchibouguac River, and finally a continuation of the monitoring of the river’s water quality.

Creation of an eco-park in Cormier-Village. Vision H2O is happy to announce its involvement in the development of a new eco-park!  In order to plan and develop the park’s trails and interpretation sites, it is necessary to know what lives and grows in the forest. For that reason, an inventory of the park’s birds, mammals, amphibians, invertebrates, fish and plants is currently being done by our organization. Vision H2O is determined to try to conserve as best as possible the natural habitats and ecosystems present in and around the forest. A primary goal of Vision H2O and the Cormier-Village Cultural Centre is to pass on this essential information to the community and the general public and to instill a sense of awareness and knowledge on the importance of protecting our environment.
